A corner bracket for joining two aluminium channels at 90 degrees. It seats into the corner where the sections meet and takes fixings through both, so the joint is carried by the bracket rather than by screws driven into the channel wall alone.
The footprint is 50 x 50 mm and the height is 2 inch, matched to 2 inch channel. The full height bears against the face of the section, spreading the load down the depth of the joint instead of concentrating it at the edge.
Four countersunk holes at the corners of the face seat the screw heads flush, so a panel or a second section can sit against the face without fouling. Two elongated slots between them allow the bracket to be repositioned to square the frame before the fixings are tightened.
The underside is ribbed for stiffness across the corner. Outer edges are chamfered.
