A 12 mm frame bar surrounds an open honeycomb net of 7 mm hexagonal cells drawn in 0.96 mm threads, and the cells are open through to the wall behind.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak is drawn front-facing at the centre of the net: the pagdi with its folds, the tilak on the forehead, the eyes and brow lines, the moustache and beard, and the collar of the angarkha below the chin. The portrait is cut at the shoulders so the face fills the opening. Each stroke is a separate line with gaps between them, so the net shows through the drawing. The portrait measures about 103 x 159 mm and stands 5 mm proud of the net, 7 mm below the front edge of the bar.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bar, net and portrait are printed as one piece, with no glue, no assembly, no glass and no backing board.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThree keyhole hangers are recessed into the back face, one on the top edge and one on each upper slanted edge, so nothing stands proud of the back and the frame sits flat on the wall. Each takes a screw head through a 9 mm chamber and holds it behind a lip in a 5 mm slot. The slots run uphill so the frame's weight seats the screw, and the 40 mm top slot and 20 mm side slots give travel to level the frame after the screws are in.
